MNEMBA ISLAND - A beautiful 1.5 kilometers long island, in the north of Zanzibar. This island is a home of common dolphins and Green turtles, and most famous Marine Conservation in Zanzibar.

While in Zanzibar a trip to Mnemba Atoll is a must, the Island itself is surrounded by an oval reef seven by four kilometers in extend. What makes Mnemba Atoll different from diving in town is the amount of fish you will see.
PLAN OF THE DAY:
Pick up from hotel in Stone Town for a 90 min drive to Matemwe Village in the Northeast Unguja Island.
After taking your dive equipment hop on the speed boat for a 30 min ride - 3 km from Unguja Island.
You will get 2/3 points to dive where you can take your time to explore the reef.
Have lunch in between.
Take the boat back to Matemwe Village where your car will be waiting for you.
Drive back to your hotel.

Three species of dolphin see throughout the year
Approximately 600 species of coral reef fish.
Green Sea Turtles can be seen laying their eggs on the beaches between February and September.
Kichuani - a nearly vertical wall dropping from 2 to 30 meters.
Wattabomi - Easy slope from 6 to 30 meters and a great dive for beginners and experienced divers.
Big Wall - located at the east side of Mnemba in Open Ocean. Only Advanced divers only can dive on this wall, due to its starting depth.
