PAJE BEACH

If you like places with less resorts and a more sportive vibe, this is the place to be on Zanzibar. The Island has a wide range of water-sports to offer and Paje is famously known for hosting most of them. You will be able to kite surf, jet ski, parasail, kayak and a lot more. Please note it is recommended to make prior booking to avoid any mishaps.

When going to Paje please keep these two things in mind. Firstly, look out for all the kite-surfing lovers, many are new to the sport. Secondly, the tide has great impact on the east coast which means that you can walk for miles out into the ocean with the water only reaching your ankles.

Activities we recommend will be the women’s seaweed center, Jozani Forest, and the famous Rock restaurant are all close to Paje. Try renting a scooter for a day and take to the Zanzibari streets.
